Wandering Children with ASD and Prevention Strategies

Location: Online Survey
Start Date: December 1st, 2016
End Date: November 30th, 2017

Cohen Children’s Medical Center of New York is conducting a major national study about wandering, and they are looking for participants. Wandering by children with ASD and other developmental disorders is a significant safety concern. Few researchers have looked at this major issue, and there has been little focus on prevention measures and the impact that wandering concerns have on families. Participation involves filling out an anonymous, online questionnaire.

If you are the parent or guardian of a child 4 years or older with autism or other developmental disabilities, you can take the anonymous, online questionnaire at www.WanderingResearch.com. Even if your child has never wandered, the Center encourages you to take the survey.
