An Investigation of Sibling and Family Coping
Location: Online Survey
Start Date: April 25th, 2013
End Date: December 31st, 2020
The purpose of this study is to examine overall family functioning and sibling and parent coping when a child with an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is present in the family. Participation simply requires that one parent and a typically-developing sibling complete online questionnaires about themselves. Participants will also be entered for a chance to win a $30 gift card to a national retailer.
Eligibility Criteria
Families must have at least one child diagnosed with an ASD between the ages of 3 and 17 and a fully biologically related, typically-developing sibling between the ages of 11 and 17.
Contact Information
Any interested parents should contact Ted at theodore.tomeny@eagles.usm.edu. They will then be sent their own unique link to the study questionnaires.
