FRIENDS Study

Location: Greater Boston area
Start Date: July 1st, 2019
End Date: March 1st, 2020

We are looking for children ages 8-11 in the greater Boston area to tell us about their friendships! The FRIENDS study is a doctoral dissertation study that aims to learn more about what children want and expect from their friendships. We are interested to include children with autism spectrum disorder as well as children without autism, as we aim to understand all children’s experiences with friendships, as well as the ways these experiences may be similar or different for children with and without autism. Participation will take 1 hour and can take place at your home, our UMass Boston office, or a location you choose (within the greater Boston area). Children earn a small gift for participating.
