Inhibitory control in children with autism

Location: Tri-state area (multiple locations)
Start Date: June 1st, 2018
End Date: June 1st, 2020

Researchers from CUNY are investigating the executive functioning of children and young adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) using standardized assessments and computerized behavioral measures. Participants will be asked to answer questions, talk about pictures, and recall lists of words. The aim of this project is to explore the cognitive profiles of children with varying language abilities. We have multiple testing sites throughout the tri-state area, so participants can be tested at the location most convenient to the family. Compensation and small gifts are provided for participation time.

Eligibility Criteria
We are currently seeking children with ASD between 7 years old to 13 years old who are able to read at least at the single word level.
