Participating in this survey will help us as a research lab better understand the perceptions of parents so that we can create better public health interventions grounded in their voices.
What are the goals of the study?
The purpose of this study is to (1) assess the characteristics of children (aged 2-10), diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD); (2) assess use of current treatments, services, behavioral, and health tools used by parents to treat ASD symptoms of their children diagnosed with ASD; (3) explore the perceptions, attitudes, and beliefs of parents with children diagnosed with ASD, and (4) assess how the COVID-19 pandemic affected treatments and services for children with ASD.
What will happen during the visit or online?
Participate in an anonymous online survey.
How will this help families?
This will help families affected by autism by allowing their voices to be heard and understood and be the backbone of future public health interventions.
