Assessment of Parenting Styles and Preferences
What's the study about?
We are looking to better understand parents’ assessment and preference for different parenting styles to better inform future interventions.
Who can participate?
Parents of autistic children, 3-7 years old, with a suspected or confirmed diagnosis of autism. Parents must:
- Be over the age of 18 years old
- Read/speak English
- Be at least a 2nd generation American citizen (at least 1 parent born in the U.S.)
- Have lived in the U.S. 50-100% of their life
- Have access to the internet
What will participants be doing?
Participants will watch videos of parent-child interactions and complete questionnaires. Expected Duration: ~1 hour

Why is this important?
To better inform culturally appropriate interventions across different cultures and countries, our study aims to better understand parents’ assessment and preference for different parenting styles.
