The EMBRACED Study

July 15, 2021 - July 15, 2023

What are the goals of the study?

The EMBRACED Study is a nationwide research study investigating the relation between a set of mental skills called executive functions and behavioral and emotional difficulties in children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) between the ages of 5-10 years old.

What will happen during the visit or online?

This study consists of a few short surveys involving your child’s behaviors, ASD symptoms, and cognitive abilities and will take no longer than approximately 25-30 minutes to complete. If interested, you will also be entered into a raffle drawing for a chance to win one of four $50 Amazon gift cards for completion of the survey.

How will this help families?

The goal is to reach a diverse sample of families to better inform research and therefore therapeutic interventions.
