Personality Perception in Autistic Teens
What's the study about?
The study examines how accurately autistic adolescents attribute personality traits to themselves and to others.
Who can participate?
Participation requires a teen and a parent. Teens must be between 13 and 17 years old and have a formal autism diagnosis. All participants must be able to read and understand English.
What will participants be doing?
Teens and parents will each complete two short personality inventories about themselves and each other. Participation is expected to take approximately 10 minutes.
Why is this important?
The findings may help advance understanding of autism and inform future research and the development of interventions.
