Caring for Adult Children with Autism
What's the study about?
We are looking to better understand the caregiver experience for families who are caring for an adult child in the home. This qualitative study will look for emerging themes of experiences across our interviews.
Who can participate?
Caregivers 18+ years old, living in the United States who have an adult (18+ yrs) child with autism living in the home.
What will participants be doing?
Caregivers will be asked a variety of demographic information as well as questions pertaining to their time commitments, caregiving responsibilities, social relationships, etc. We anticipate the interviews to last approximately 30 min.
Why is this important?
It is vital that we understand the personal experiences of families who provide on-going care for those on the spectrum so that we might improve service opportunities for those in need.
