DEVELOPING COMMUNITY AND EXPERT CONSENSUS ON NEURODIVERSITY-INFORMED EDUCATION
What's the study about?
We’re launching a new research study: Developing Community and Expert Consensus on Neurodiversity-Informed Approaches in K-12 Educational Settings. (Principal Investigator: Lawrence Fung, MD, PhD, Associate Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Stanford University). We hope to co-create a practical, inclusive framework for neurodiversity-informed education—with neurodivergent individuals, family members, and educators. Centering lived experience and educational expertise, we hope to build a more supportive model across settings.
Who can participate?
neurodivergent individuals (age 13+), parents/guardians of neurodivergent individuals, and educators of neurodivergent students
What will participants be doing?
What participation involves (< 1 hour total):
• Consent/assent
• Questionnaire on neurodiversity-informed education
Why is this important?
This study could help improve educational settings for neurodivergent individuals.
