What's the study about?

We are interested in learning more about rhythm and language in different activities. During this study, you will complete surveys, complete behavioral and rhythm assessments, and participate in speech/conversation tasks.

Who can participate?

Native English-speaking adults (18-40 years old) willing to participate in ~2 study visits at Vanderbilt. Autistic and non-autistic adults are eligible to participate.

What will participants be doing?

Participants will be asked to complete various language, communication/conversation, and rhythm activities during ~2 study visits (duration of ~1-2 hours per session). If appropriate, participants may also have opportunity to receive an autism assessment.

Why is this important?

Potential benefits include informing future interventions and opportunities to receive feedback on some study activities (e.g., diagnostic testing).
