What's the study about?

The purpose of this study is to understand, from the perspective of caregivers like you, why families sometimes reduce or stop ABA services for their child before treatment goals are met.

Who can participate?

• You are the parent or primary caregiver of a child (ages 2-18)
• Your child received ABA services for at least 30 days within the past 2 years
• You are 18 years or older and able to participate in an English-language conversation

What will participants be doing?

A brief 5-10 minute online screening form, then one 90-minute focus group on Zoom (most sessions), or in person at a partner site in Atlanta if you live nearby and prefer that. Sessions are recorded for research purposes. You will receive a $50 electronic gift card.
Your participation is voluntary. It will not affect any services your child is currently receiving or may receive in the future, from any provider.

Why is this important?

We hope what we learn will help ABA providers do a better job of supporting families.
