Regulating Together: Emotion Dysregulation and ASD

What's the study about?

A research study to test how well a treatment program called Regulating Together works for children diagnosed with ASD who have emotion dysregulation difficulties.

Who can participate?

Children 8 to 12 years old, ASD diagnosis, IQ <70

What will participants be doing?

All participants will complete 5 outcome visits, and children and caregivers will participate in group therapy twice a week for five weeks.

Why is this important?

This may help researchers to better understand emotional dysregulation and potentially help them develop better treatments for others with ASD.
